How do we integrate beyond symptoms? Do symptoms themselves come from a lack of integration? What does moving integration beyond Western frameworks of mental health and towards the spiritual look like? The intersection of psychedelics and spirituality opens a path of integration for world paradigms, health systems, and global cosmologies. Understanding and supporting this level of spiritual work is being called for beyond the western couch model. For most of history the relationship to the sacred was held in the hands of spiritual and religious practitioners, and they served people in that holding. Psychedelics now bring the sacred within reach of many, in various forms and sacraments. Together we'll explore the multidimensional aspects of transformation and the spiritual themes that arise across different sacraments, ask how paradigm orientation shapes the way we understand integration, and how we might accompany others in it. REGISTER HERE Teresa Yung is a therapist, practitioner, and researcher, integrating the worlds of psychology, spirit, and science. Her study with master plant teachers Ayahuasca and Iboga and their various ancestral lineages parallels her education in psychology and work in trauma. Her private practice is as a AEDP therapist combining somatic, polyvagal, parts and attachment work. Within ceremony she is guided by her study with teacher Cristina Mendoza working with Ayahuasca and Sangoma South African healers that hold Iboga. She is also a psychedelics researcher, recently publishing a case study series on the effects of Iboga microdosing and Traumatic Brain Injury. She is pursuing a PhD at Cambridge with the inquiry of how microdosing iboga can help treat Complex PTSD.
