The Third Annual Continuous Improvement Conference, takes place on Wednesday, October 28, 2026 from 9:00 am-4:00 pm at the Rutter Center, Mission Bay. This year's theme is Driving Enterprise Transformation Together, and the conference is our largest yet, expanding across both floors to create a more interactive experience. This year's event includes a keynote from Adam Markel, an internationally recognized speaker on resilience, leadership, and organizational change; departmental Booths and A3 Posters; Breakout Learning Sessions led by your UCSF colleagues on improvement work from across the organization; and Catchball Cafe, an interactive session where project teams share their work, exchange ideas, and receive feedback from colleagues.
