Join the UCSF Computational Cancer Community (C3) for a monthly presentation and discussion. Speaker: Stathis Gennatas, MBBS AICSM PhD Associate Professor, Bioinformatics Department of Epidemiology & Biostatistics Co-Director, UCSF Scientific Software Core Presentation: Science-Grade Software: Validated, Observable, Auditable, Reproducible Pipelines for Human × AI Collaboration Science depends on software, but how much of it was designed to rigorous scientific standards? This talk will begin with a discussion of the core principles that define what we are calling "science-grade software". It will then provide an overview and demonstration of the rtemis ecosystem, a schema-driven, multi-interface framework designed to (a) build validated, observable, auditable, and reproducible pipelines and (b) make advanced AI/ML and visualization accessible to scientists, clinicians, and statisticians. ------------ This a recurring monthly meeting focused on cancer genomics and computational cancer biology and oncology. It provides a forum for UCSF labs to share largely unpublished work and to get feedback and input.
