How we respond in those tough moments shapes what children learn about themselves. In this one-hour session, early childhood educators will step into the role of "behavior detective," looking beneath the behavior to understand the need driving it. Participants will explore how connection, predictable routines, and proactive guidance prevent challenges before they start, and will leave with practical strategies for staying calm and responding with empathy and intention. The Early Childhood Workforce Training is offered to early childhood providers for the purpose of meeting the annual Nevada State Early Childhood training requirements. Employees must complete a minimum of 24 hours of training annually to continue employment in a licensed childcare center or home care.
