Join us as we celebrate the use of the humanities for healing in healthcare! Open to the community, faculty, staff and students, the Orvis School of Nursing, the College of Liberal Arts and the Lilley Museum of Art invite you to attend “The Poetry of Care – an evening with Dr. Shirley Stephenson.” Dr. Stephenson, an advanced practice registered nurse from the University of Illinois Chicago, is known for her work through poetry and the health humanities with people often marginalized from the healthcare system. The evening will open with a reception and mingling, continue with a reading of Dr. Stephenson’s poetry in the Harlan O. & Barbara R. Hall Recital Hall, and conclude with a curatorial walk through the Lilley Museum.
