Parks throughout the country will be participating in a fun challenge to see how many pollinator species can be documented throughout the month. It is easy to participate, too! Simply join the City of Las Vegas project page on iNaturalist (City of Las Vegas: Floyd Lamb Park Nature Challenge · iNaturalist), make observations on your own, and upload using the iNaturalist app. With the iNaturalist app, the online community will help identify the species of plant, animal or insect you've observed. This lets parks determine changes in plant populations over time and in a variety of locations.
