Shili Lin, Ph.D., is a professor of statistics at The Ohio State University, where she chairs the universitywide interdisciplinary Ph.D. program in biostatistics and was the founding director of the Computational Health and Life Sciences Community of Practice. Her research focuses on developing statistical methods for genetic association studies, epigenomics and bioinformatics, with extensive collaboration on complex diseases such as cancer and maternal health. She is editor-in-chief of Statistical Applications in Genetics and Molecular Biology and serves on the CANSSI Board of Directors. Lin is a fellow of the American Statistical Association, the Institute of Mathematical Statistics and the American Association for the Advancement of Science. REGISTER HERE Lunch will be provided.
