An introduction to legal research during the first year of law school. Students will learn practical tips for approaching legal research strategically, including how to identify a legal issue, select appropriate sources, develop an efficient research plan, and avoid common research pitfalls. The lab is designed to help students build confidence in navigating legal resources and establish habits that support success in law school and legal practice. Credit will be given for Legal Research Skills Program.
