The FIU Opera Workshop at the Wertheim School of Music & Performing Arts presents Sid the Serpent Who Wanted to Sing, an opera for young audiences offered as a community outreach performance for Miami-Dade County Public Schools students. Sid is a lovable serpent with one great wish: to sing. As he pursues his dream, he discovers the courage to be himself and the joy of finding his own voice. Filled with lively music, humor, and colorful characters, the production offers students an engaging introduction to opera. Presented by the FIU Opera Workshop Robert B.
