In this workshop, James Finley, Ph.D. invites us to enter the Gospel story of the woman at the well and accompany her as she encounters the transforming presence of Jesus. Together, we will reflect on what this sacred encounter reveals about our own longing for wholeness and our capacity to discover joy in the midst of life's struggles. Drawing on the wisdom of the Christian contemplative tradition, Jim will offer a simple practice of prayer to help us become more deeply grounded in God's intimate presence throughout each unfolding phase of our lives. As we learn to receive our joys and sorrows in the light of this presence, we discover a path toward a deeper freedom, resilience, and joy that no circumstance can take away.
