Join us for an evening of sacred music, prayer, and reflection inspired by the enduring witness of St. Francis of Assisi. Drawing inspiration from St. Francis' "Canticle of the Creatures" and his historic encounter with Sultan al-Malik al-Kamil, members of the Muslim, Jewish, and Christian traditions will gather in a spirit of reverence, hospitality, and peace. Through the beauty of each tradition's sacred music and sacred texts, we will honor our shared relationship with God, one another, and all creation. This is an opportunity for encounter—a chance to listen deeply, celebrate our distinct traditions, and recognize the values that call us to peace, compassion, and care for our common home and one another. As we commemorate the 800th anniversary of the death of St. Francis, whose life continues to inspire dialogue across differences and love for all creation, we invite our CRS students, university community and the wider public to join us in this shared experience of hope, gratitude, and praise. Join us after the service for a dinner in the Sculpture Garden. Admission is free and all are warmly welcome. Attendance is required for students enrolled in CRS courses. This event is part of the Season of Creation festivities.
