LCCR/CJLP - Prison to Prosperity Pipeline Convening

Date: Friday, September 18, 2026

Time: TBD

Venue: Murphy Recital Hall

City: Los Angeles, CA

Loyola Center for Conflict Resolution and Center for Juvenile Law & Policy are partnering to launch a Prison to Prosperity Pipeline beginning with an all-day convening at LLS on Friday, September 18, 2026. After conducting a series of listening sessions on anti-hate initiatives through a two-year project funded by the National Association for Community Mediation and the JAMS Foundation, our two clinics will focus our collective efforts on supporting individuals as they re-enter society after incarceration. One of the key themes that emerged from these listening sessions was that while there are many valuable resources serving this population, there is not enough coordination and collaboration among them. On September 18, we will bring together faculty and staff from our two campuses whose work already contributes to this Pipeline. We will begin to map and connect our own existing University resources and focus on: Partnerships with organizations supporting individuals transitioning from incarcerationTraining and educational resources that already exist on our two campuses and have the potential to expandRelated research and narrative change that our faculty and staff are leadingEvaluation, policy and systems advocacy
