Join No Hate in WA State’s Bellingham Coalition Party & Fall Kickoff! Live music, drag, community, and a whole lot of joy. Join No Hate in Washington State and our community partner Community First Whatcom for a big community celebration featuring live music performances from Spider Cult and Songbirds. Also enjoy live drag performances from Cosmo Thafairy, Jesper and Veehira! Refreshments will be available! As we head into the final stretch before November, we’re bringing volunteers, local organizations, supporters, and community members together to celebrate what we’ve built and kick off the next phase of our fall organizing. No Hate in WA State is organizing around two statewide ballot initiatives, I-001 and I-638, that would change protections affecting Washington students, including confidential support at school and policies affecting trans students in school sports. Community First Whatcom is working locally to pass a measure banning algorithmic price fixing, a common-sense protection against rent hikes that our community and housing market can’t sustain. Whether you’ve been involved for months or are just learning about these campaigns, you’re invited. Meet the coalition, connect with people doing the work across Whatcom County, learn how you can get involved this fall, or simply come enjoy the performances and celebrate with your community.
