Students, faculty and staff come out for an exciting day filled with activities, music and fun! GIG (Get into Goucher Day) is a campus tradition that started in 1980, Each year we celebrate being part of the Goucher community. This year’s GIG theme is Out of this World!😊The Office of Student Engagement (OSE) and the Student Engagement Team (SET) has worked hard to put together a fantastic event for you all that will run from 4-10 p.m. on Friday, September 11, 2026. Please see the below friendly reminders: To participate in GIG all students will need to sign a waiver and receive a GIG wristband. You must show your OneCard upon check in.Guests are not permitted for GIG.The dining hall will be open during their normal hours.Beer garden attendees must show valid ID (OneCard with birth date or government issued identification).Beer garden attendees will receive two drink tickets that can be turned in at the bar in exchange for a variety of beer, wine, seltzers, and a signature cocktail!Bar will also serve a signature mocktail, soda, and water. Area is 21+ whether you are drinking or not.Classes are not cancelled, please check in to GIG after your class is finished.Giveaways are while supplies last.Shirt giveaway will be staggered every 15 minutes.
