CETLOE’s Teaching with AI: Examples Across Disciplines series launches September 30 with a virtual session featuring Associate Professor Brown from the Department of Mathematics and Statistics. Brown will share simple, practical examples of how she is using AI in her teaching and with her students, including how these approaches are supporting her teaching and student learning. Designed for faculty who are new to AI and looking for practical ideas they can adapt or replicate, the series focuses on the what and how of AI implementation rather than theoretical or ethical discussions. The goal of the session is to make it easy for faculty to take what they see and try it in their own classrooms. Resources, examples, and implementation materials will be shared after each session to help faculty adapt the ideas and put them into practice in their own courses. Each one-hour session will include 30 minutes of conversation with the featured faculty member, exploring what they are doing, how they are doing it, while the second half of the session will be dedicated to Q&A and questions from faculty who’d like to implement the shared idea.
