This session of Teaching with AI: Examples Across Disciplines will focus on using AI to support rubric development and other practical teaching tasks. Dr. Perry will begin by sharing examples of effective rubrics and what makes them useful for students and instructors, followed by how you can use AI to adapt or refine them for your courses. She will also demonstrate how to use AI to help import and implement the rubrics to iCollege, share practical guidance for writing effective AI prompts, and explore other ways AI can help streamline routine teaching tasks. Throughout the session, we’ll use real examples to demonstrate the process for classroom use, including examples of syllabi, course materials, and other resources. The goal of this series and each session is to provide interested faculty with practical examples of how GSU faculty are using AI in their classrooms—examples that faculty can take, adapt, and apply in their own teaching.
