CETLOE is excited to announce our first-ever Open Classrooms Week this fall, Oct. 5-9. We're inviting faculty to open their doors and welcome one to two colleagues to catch a glimpse of teaching in action. This isn't an evaluation or a formal observation; it's a community-building exchange designed to spark conversation and showcase the diverse teaching talent across our university. Course: Intro to Statistics Session Description: in this class we have two major activities: combined lectures: half of our time is for lecture, and the other half is for students to benefit from hands on experience in doing their homework. we have a relatively new AI homework assistant that we are testing for this course. I think considering the emergence of new technology more and more courses in math and stats should move towards this platform (lab-lecture combined).
